Hi, I’m Chris I am the founder and CEO of drumBEAT Marketing UK. I have been working in marketing for over 10, during my previous career in IT I used my skills in communicating with clients as people with non-techie language.

My team and I are focused on delivering results through data-driven methods and continuous improvement. The whole approach is based on transparency because we like our clients to know exactly what we are doing, when we are doing it, and what results the work delivers. It is a simple and yet somewhat underused strategy.

  • Veterans’ employment support
  • Community engagement initiatives
  • Fundraising strategy and development
  • Mental health and well-being programs

Patrick spent the first 24 years of his career serving in the British Army. After that, he took on the role of Chairman’s Guardian for the owner of Harrods and his family, where he traveled internationally, managing security operations. This included overseeing two Guardians in Europe and Scandinavia, along with seventy personal bodyguards and three hundred uniformed security personnel. He also handled an annual operational budget of £42 million.

In 2012, Patrick’s passion for helping military personnel transition into civilian life led him to create Troops2Trades CIC (T2T). This initiative, under the name Lincoln Solar PV Ltd., partnered with Galliford Try Plc on a one-year contract to install solar panels on social housing. T2T provided military service leavers with valuable training and job opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

Patrick also established Mentored Safe Recovery (MSR), a PTSD mentoring program, funded by The Bromhead Trust, which operated out of HMP Lincoln. MSR offered support to both prison officers and inmates dealing with PTSD. After completing its mission, T2T successfully wrapped up its operations.

Currently, Patrick is focused on his new project, the Armed Forces Community Association (AFCA), which he started through AMMO-BOX CIC. AFCA aims to support veterans, with an initial focus on mobility through a Voluntary Car Service (AFCA-VCS). By 2025, AFCA plans to become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (AFCA CIO), setting the stage for a long-term military community organisation in Lincolnshire.
